I am an empirical macroeconomist with research interests in inflation dynamics, monetary policy, and time-series econometrics. My research examines how inflation processes have evolved following major global shocks, including the Covid-19 pandemic, the war in Ukraine, and global supply chain disruptions. A central theme of my work is the degree of inflation synchronization across advanced, emerging, and low-income economies.
My research has been published in Macroeconomic Dynamics, Business Economics, Economic Modelling, and Economic Inquiry. My article in Business Economics received the 2025 National Association for Business Economics (NABE) Abramson Scroll Award, recognizing outstanding applied research with relevance for policy and business economists.
In 2023, I participated in the American Economic Association Summer Economics Fellow Program , which allowed me to further develop my dissertation research in residence at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. In 2022, I worked as an economist at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), where I assessed the macroeconomic impact of global supply chain disruptions in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Prior to my doctoral studies, I was one of three recipients of the Fulbright Scholarship from Madagascar, which enabled me to pursue graduate training in the United States. He received an M.A. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee in 2020. I hold a Master II in Macroeconomics and Public Economics (2017) and a B.A. in Economics and Management (2014), both from the Université Catholique de Madagascar.
